Meet Aria

Saturday, July 14th, 2012

Aloha! My name is Aria. I’ve lived on the North Shore for two years now and I’m going to school here at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. I’m a Music major and I plan to go on to graduate school to study Speech Pathology after my time at BYUH. I want to work as a speech therapist in elementary schools when I grow up get a bit older. I was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m the oldest of 5 kids and have been working with kids…since before I left that age group. I’ve been the neighborhood babysitter ever since I got my first CPR certification at a Safe-Sitter course when I was 12. I’m a musician and a swimmer. I am still a certified Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor, I worked in that capacity at a few community pools for 4 years in Las Vegas. I love teaching and working with children just about as much as I love water. I love bubbles, kites, and sandcastles and I prefer running around with kids to almost anything else. I cherish child creativity and try to foster it whenever I get the chance. I know that your children are your most prized possessions and I look forward to helping you with them. Aloha!
