Aloha! My name is Emily and I am from Portland, Oregon. I currently attend BYU Hawaii and will be graduating next year in Exercise and Sport Science. I grew up babysitting my neighbors from ages 1-10. I would mostly watch families with only 2 or 3 kids but have handled much more. I was the neighborhood’s go-to babysitter for any occasion. When I got older I got a job as a coach for SkyHawks (youth sports camps). I would have a group of 10-15 kids on my own and would have to teach them a certain skill everyday, rules of the sport, along with sportsmanship, teamwork, and other life lessons. My senior year of high school I nannied for one of the coaches at my school. My responsibilities included picking up the two kids from school everyday, helping them with homework, making them a snack, getting them ready for soccer practice and then dropping them off. I enjoyed this job a lot and was lucky to find a nanny agency once I moved to Hawaii!
